The Gift of Giving
The Board of Directors and Staff of FHCCGLA we wish everyone a happy and healthy Holiday Season. This year the FHCCGLA board and staff have worked hard to make certain that the blessings of the Holiday are spread throughout the communities we serve. For years FHCCGLA has distributed Thanksgiving dinners to needy families and holiday gifts to community children.
The holiday gift distribution was a wonderful experience for all involved, and through the generosity of staff and supporters FHCCGLA was able to distribute more gifts than ever. These FHCCGLA traditions are not seen as mere charity, but as part of the fulfillment of our mission of service. A special thank you to the offices of Congresswoman Lucille Roybal-Allard, Senator-elect Ricardo Lara, and the Rio Hondo Boys and Girls Club for their generosity this Holiday Season. “

“FHCCGLA thanks all our friends and supporters for making our 2nd Annual Benefit Dinner such a great success. Once again we were overwhelmed by the outpouring of support and the generosity of donors who came together to make this evening so very special. With the help of our wonderful MC, Mr. Paul Gonzales, we were able to celebrate the legacy of our nonprofit health center, and at the same time recognize the academic achievements of four students from our service area.
The work of our health center in improving the wellbeing of our community is never ending and it is only through the combined strength of our board, staff, patients, and friends that we can succeed in creating a healthier future and stay true to our legacy of compassionate service to all.”
